Mirjam Bartol, violinist

Slovenian solo and collaborative violinist Mirjam Bartol is currently studying at the Royal College of Music, London for a Master’s degree with Gabrielle Lester, where she also completed her Bachelor’s degree program with professors Daniel Rowland and Leonid Kerbel. She has performed in several masterclasses and learnt from

world renowned professors including Maxim Vengerov, Alina Ibragimova, Nicola Benedetti and others.

Mirjam regularly performs in orchestral projects at Royal College of Music and is a member of Camerata SMO Chamber orchestra. She has performed in a number of chamber ensembles and is currently focusing on her piano trio. She enjoys exploring many styles and different approaches to music, collaborating with contemporary composers, artists, dancers, pop and jazz musicians. 

Her expressive yet intimate playing brings out an individual voice, which makes her interpretations unique.
